Over the weekend, our kitchen became a Russian cooking school! A family in our ward has an adopted niece from Russia. While her birth mother was in town, Brandon was able to translate for her a few times. On the last night, we had both families over to our house to make pilmini and plov, 2 of Brandon’s favorite Russian dishes from his mission. It was a treat to have a real Russian in our home to teach us the ways. And the food turned out delicious.
