We love when Em comes to town because she and her children are always up for an adventure. And not even a broken leg stopped Grandpa from joining us, too. And kind Sarah was patient and helped keep our kids in line! Because we were a crazy, rowdy group in such a fancy place.
But the giggles and smiles and wonder and awe in their eyes was worth it. In fact, we were all impressed with the trees, international Christmas windows and huge gingerbread house made with 300 boxes of rice krispies, 1200 pounds of flour, and other ridiculous amounts of confectioneries. Such a fun Christmas memory for us!

Riding on grandpa’s scooter was a big hit!

Evelyn asked if she could live here.

The windows were fun to look out. Our favorites were Russia and Australia! Can’t believe we will be there so soon!

They earned cookies for finding all the candy windows.

And decided to eat them outside after we discovered we were 2 feet away from a wedding taking place in the hall, nonetheless.
