We’ve been busy little bees prepping for our upcoming travels! This weekend was full of laundry and errands and cleaning.  Brandon and I managed to sneek in a little date night because by golly, we haven’t had much time lately to just talk uninterrupted. Heavy snow was falling as we talked over dinner and even though it was super romantic gallavanting through snowflakes and twinkle lights at Station Park, I became giddy thinking we would be in sunshine so soon.

As I was packing on Saturday morning, I happened upon this happy scene- Brandon reading stories with the children. I pulled out my camera and got these unscripted photos–my all-time favorite kind.

Despite how busy life gets, I’m always more motivated when I take time to rejuvenate whether it’s going on a date, having solo time, or taking time to read to my children. I need to remember that more often.
