It’s an Easter tradition to take a picnic on the Saturday before Easter. And we’ve always wanted to visit the Spiral Getty, so we decided to combine the two! We had a busy day helping the Salmons move and doing a few other things, so we got a later start than we had originally planned. So our picnic then turned into eating in the car because everyone was too hungry to wait, but that just meant we were ready to adventure as soon as we got there.

Funny side story…I was talking to my dad earlier in the week and found out he had a date planned (independently from us) for the same day, so we actually ran into him and his date there. We had fun playing on the rocks, playing in the sand, and even the water together.   It was all fun and games until Oliver got too wet and then he got upset. And cried until we got back to the car. That ended our outing, but so happy we got to visit this amazing work of art. We’re glad we got to spend some time with Grandpa, too.
