We had some amigos over for a fiesta this year on Cinco de Mayo. We had a taco bar, sombrero cookies, and a pinata. We had such a fun group of people and I loved watching all the kids play so happily together in the backyard while the ladies chatted at one table and the guys at another. Since it was Friday, kids played until the sun went down. It was a great kick off to May! We’re grateful for the Lovells, Farnsworths, Johnsons, Harrisons, and Monsons, who have become good friends in our neighborhood these past few years.

The pinata was a hit! I’m not sure who had more fun– all the children or Brandon who pulled the pinata up and down.

Blake’s happy dance cracked me up! He was pretty happy to collect so much candy!
