We announced Baby #4 to our family and friends by sending Christmas Cards with the caption “The More the Merrier!” My fellow photographer friend Rachel and I decided to trade doing each other’s family photos on Saturday afternoon. Great idea, right?

Well, the tree farm we went to was Muddy with a capital M. By the time we found a decent spot in the tree, our shoes were covered in mud. It was a Christmas miracle that no one fell in it as we hiked through to find a good spot.

All we needed was one good shot for the announcement, but we got a few extra good ones. I sure love this family of mine and when they trudge through mud to get a photo!  Can’t wait to meet this little one in April!!
