[December 9]

Evelyn and I got back from NYC very late on December 6th, so we celebrated St. Nicholas Day on the 9th. We only had to mention that St. Nicholas was going to come and Blake and Evelyn ran quickly to grab everyone’s shoes and put them by the front door.

St. Nicholas brought our family matching PJs– a Christmas miracle! Usually, He leaves just oranges and Lindt, but this year He left a toy train for the kids to put around their tree. It was a hit! I found so much joy watching them huddled around the train all month long just mesmerized by it.
