Sunday Snippets- Merry Christmas Edition

December 23, 2018

It’s December 23…4th Advent Sunday! Plus it’s tradition to sleep by the Christmas tree on the eve of Christmas Eve. The children are so excited! We’ll watch a movie and pop corn. Eli will sleep in his crib, so we can (cross our fingers) get some sleep.

It’s been a while since I’ve done Sunday Snippets…so let’s do one! (These photos are from October in Park City…we used them for our Christmas card and these were the rest.)

Blake

Blake was so excited for Christmas Break. He has been so fun this year, loving all the festivities. He loves making plans of what we will do. He is obsessed with treats. He still asks for me to snuggle with him at night. I love it!

Evelyn

Evelyn is obsessed with art. I found her art all over the house all day long. She is so sweet and loves giving it to any visitors or family around. She loves loves loves anything sparkly. She thinks anything silver or gold is so pretty….even paper clips.

Oliver

Oliver has created quite the commotions lately…in just a few days time he pulled off all the clothes from the closet, dumped protein powder on the kitchen counter and floor, smeared jam on the cupboards, shattered all the candy canes on the floor, broke a glass candle, ate our Rolos from the countdown, dumped a box of Chex and crushed them on the floor and pulled every diaper and article of clothing from his drawers and piled it on his bed. He creates a mess everywhere…I’m learning to be patient with this.

Eli

Poor 8 month baby of ours…he had an ear infection all week and didn’t get take him in until Friday when I knew something was wrong since he is usually so content and happy. He is scooting all over the place and can sit on his own for a few seconds. He loves all the food he has tried, but doesn’t like a bottle.

Brandon

Dad has spoiled me lately with all his help ranging from making lunch when he works from home, to going Christmas shopping with me, to cleaning out the car, to get all 4 kids in bed when I’ve been gone at night. I’m grateful to have him in my life! We’ve been taking turns going to the Temple every other week and it has brought so many blessings to our family and our marriage. Oh, and he even made rice krispy treats with Christmas sprinkles in them. He’s getting more and festive each year.

Only 2 sleeps until Christmas!
