Last night was Grandma Sunday’s birthday. We invited her and Grandpa Stan over for dinner and cake. We’re grateful for her example of faith, devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to her family. Just over a year ago we heard the news that she had breast cancer. Since my own mother had breast cancer when I was 14, this hit so close to home. I didn’t always know how to help Lynetter or what to say… but we’re all glad and grateful that she handled her chemo and radiation well this past year and that she’s better! And that we got to celebrate her 63rd birthday with her.
