Rainbow Fountain

I was so excited for Brandon to return from Argentina that I planned a family outing for the very next night. We all hopped on the metro together and rode to the Fuente del Bicentenario  at Plaza de la Aviacion.

We arrived early before the fountain turned on and quickly noticed that the group of people the park attracted included families, teens, same-sex couples, pot smoke, and lots of dogs. Since it wasn’t a place we wanted to just spend hours and hours waiting at, we crossed the busy street to a Subway restaurant and grabbed some dinner.

Once we got back to the park, the sun finally set and the rainbow colors started to emerge from the fountain. We stayed out super late and had a blast enjoying the night together.
