I woke up today feeling really grateful. Grateful for my health. Grateful for my family and my life and purpose. I turned down my usual 6 am High Fit class to go on a long (for me) run. I love turning on good music and running by myself. It has been a welcome type of therapy for me these past few months as I feel cleansed in body and mind each time I go.
I was welcomed home with Blake, Evelyn and Oliver still in their pjs outside riding their scooters. Brandon surprised me with a bike rack so we could take our bikes to Park City. He was setting it up while their cheerful chatter filled the front yard.
I chose blueberries and mangoes and chocolate croissants for breakfast.
After naps and calming some meltdowns from tuckered- out- children, we loaded up and drove to Park City. First stop: taking some photos at our favorite McPolin Barn. I love it this time of year when a giant USA flag hangs from the side. The 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday!

We hopped on our bikes right after and rode 2 1/2 miles into town where we listened to a live concert for a few songs and then grabbed ice cream at The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Biking back to the cars was so much easier since it was downhill, but we had a great cool evening breeze kissing our cheeks. We were all in our happy place.
I’m grateful for how much love I felt all day long receiving phone calls, texts, packages, and lots of love from my family. They are my world and I’m so blessed to have them in my life.
