Our 4th was a BLAST this year and memorable because of the weather! We stuck around and celebrated by hosting a potluck breakfast and bike parade for our neighbors. And another giant 30 foot balloon arch for the books! When Sarah came to visit that afternoon, we got hailed on during our bike ride! That was out of the blue! I don’t think we’ve ever had hail on the 4th of July before.

Kaysville fireworks sitll happened, despite the rain that came just before they started. Good thing my dad brought his trusty tarp to cover us!

I’ll always love this holiday for what it means…and having my children dressed up in red, white and blue makes it all the better!
