It’s tradition to do a “hard things” hike on Pioneer Day. This year we hiked to the top of Ensign Peak. It’s not too long of a hike, but everyone walked the entire way (minus Eli) which is a huge feat, especially for Oliver. Thankfully his “sticky shoes” helped him with super walking power.
Evelyn insisted on carrying her backpack. It turns out she had brought all her art supplies so she could color at the top. What a cute little artist she is.
The view of Salt Lake City is spectacular but our chat of hard things and the sacrifice of pioneers made it even more special.
