One of Brandon’s clients invited us to go peach picking at their orchard of 200 trees! He was going to take the children without me, but I said, “No way!” That is one outing I didn’t want to miss out on.
It turned out to be just as lovely as I had envisioned. We filled an entire wagon with fresh juicy peaches. One by one little hands raced from tree to tree to find the perfect ripe one.
On our way out, Blake and Evelyn took a turn swinging on the giant willow tree swing. Turns out, that would be the last time anyone would swing in the tree because of the 91 mph wind storm that came a few days later.
This outing fed my soul. Life has been a bit blah lately…and not from a lack of blessings and goodness. But with Covid-19 limitations still in place and travel plans cancelled, it felt good to be in a happy place.

Everyone is looking more grown up but especially Evelyn! Peach picking looks dreamy and my mouth is watering thinking about all the yummy peach treats you must have eaten afterwards!
