We usually host a big brunch on Christmas Eve, but this year it was just our little family making beignets and hanging out. The weather was mild that we were even able to take a walk to the park and play on the playground!

My dad, Sarah and Michael dropped by right as we were finishing up dinner, so we invited them to stay for Christmas pasta and our candlelight dinner. It was so fun having them stay for a few games and the nativity as well.

We told our children they could get up as soon as they wanted but they had to get through the trap. Brandon spent a few hours setting up the trap on the stairs and may or may not have pulled a muscle while doing so. Don’t ask us how we get up to bed.
