Today was designated as Blake’s birthday re-celebration. Now that we are settled in our AirBnb in Poipu, I was able to make him birthday breakfast of sticky buns. Yes, I packed along butterscotch pudding in our suitcase and we found frozen Rhode’s dough at Walmart in Lihue.

He chose to go to Shipwreck Beach to boogie board for his activity and to get shave ice for his birthday treat.

There’s a reason they call it Shipwreck Beach! The waves were rough and big. We stayed close to the edge of the water for the most part, but it was still a fun time!

I loved watching the children face their fears and especially how Blake was so sweet to help Oliver “boogie board”.

We hit up Waikomo Shave Ice here in Poipu. It was so delicious. All the syrups were made with fresh fruit. We’ll definitely have to go back!
