The world shut down March 17th last year. Nearly one year later, there was a vaccine available and we were able to get our first dose on March 26th at the Davis County Fairgrounds.

There has been so much controversy over this vaccine and the virus to be honest, and we weren’t quite sure we were ready to get poked until we had more data about it. Our prophet President Nelson advised us to get one, but it still took us a little while to get our answer. One night it just felt the right thing to do and peace came from knowing that once we were vaccinated we wouldn’t have to worry so much.

What a wild year it has been! There’s been lots of pros (more family time, less commitments, more time home, home church) but also cons (wearing masks everywhere, more time home, worry about getting sick) so it’s a blessing to feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
