Thanksgiving fell on Madeline’s one week birthday. We debated staying home, but we were all a bit anxious to get out of the house.
So over the river and through the woods to the Polls house we went. It was a glorious feast full of delicious food, cousins, Thanksgiving charades, and too many pies to count.
I was especially grateful to just rest, snuggle Madeline and enjoy being present without the work of hosting.
