Covid crushed the plans we had for Christmas Eve, but we still made the best of it– after I had a good long walk and cry. I saw this cute little home knowing my family was inside and was determined to make the best of it.

Brandon made Christmas pasta for all of us!

The kids opened up new matching pajamas.

Then we played their favorite dice game to get a box of candy.

We left out notes and cookies/milk for Santa.

And then we rushed the children off to bed and Brandon got straight to work on the Christmas Trap. He sets up a trap and the rule is that if the kids can get through it without waking us up, they can go see their stocking whenever they wake up. But if they wake us up, then they have to go back to their room.
