Brandon and I visited the Mormon Battalion back in 2017 on our little getaway, but we wanted to bring the kids back to experience it.

While we were waiting, Evelyn, Oliver and Eli played pioneer on the wagon. They are so good at creative play.

I love how Evelyn finds the beauty wherever we are…she insisted on getting a picture with this cool plant.

The children had a good time learning about the Mormon Battalion and panning for gold at the end. Blake even got to be part part of the presentation.
