Ever since we put our swimming pool in (Sept 2021), we have been staring at dirt in the backyard. I cannot tell you happy I am that we finally got turf!

We decided to put artificial turf in since our yard is a lot smaller now with the pool and addition, plus we figured it would keep things cleaner.

Yet, there was still a ton of prep to get it ready for the turf installers. Brandon and our brother-in-law Seth worked an entire day getting the sprinklers fixed and ran to where our garden will eventually. So thankful for their help!

I snapped these photos during the process. It was fun to watch the evolution of it.

We had an extra piece of turf so at the last minute we decided to add these pavers so they could put turf around them on the final day. Brandon was a champ to be out helping me at night figure out the placement.

And then more work the next hot day.

I ran to Lowes to pick up a few plants and mulch so we could finish this area off and it was everything I dreamed of! Best birthday present ever to have this done.

Such happy happy kids who have been waiting a long time for this day. (Eli was in the bathroom-hence the empty space.)
