Our annual annual backwards back to school dinner was a little rushed. Evelyn and Madeline were in the pool, Oliver and Eli were digging in the dirt, and Blake was chilling as I prepared it. We quickly ate so we could make it to Back to School night, but it was fun nevertheless. Ice cream first, then chicken and mashed potatoes and cucumbers.

Our scripture theme we will memorize this year is Ether 12:12: “For if there be no Faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, He showed not Himself until the trial of their Faith.”

We need some big miracles and we are praying that if we exercise faith in him, we will get them. I’m excited to study more about faith and miracles this year. E

Evelyn’s favorite animal right now is the eagle, so she was so thrilled to see one at the school.

After we got home, Brandon gave the children blessings and then we tucked them into bed with their anxious jitters.
